At its inception, Yoostar was an incredibly cool entertainment system that allowed folks to shoot themselves in front of a green screen and insert themselves into scenes from their favorite movies — karaoke for cinephiles. Throughout Yoostar’s initial product launch, I worked on several projects including display ad campaigns, takeovers, and a sweepstakes microsite. Yoostar’s initial product launch was promoted on Entertainment Weekly’s website by “taking over” the screen real estate surrounding EW page content as well pushing the message with animated Flash ads. Jason Falk, Executive Creative Director, relied on my company for a fresh, user-driven design concept and production of all online collateral. Fred Delin of Quickform made this project sing in Flash.
